So...yeah.  It really has been a while since I've been on here.  Not that many of you probably even *read* this journal, since I'm so much of a lurker.  (Those who do read my lj.)  I've just had... *stuff* going on in the past few months.

If you wanna know, read below!

First, I graduated from high school in May.  Yaaay!

In June, I helped a friend with Can't Stop the Serenity DM.  We raised upwards of $2000 in our first year alone!  I'm helping to plan this next time around, so we're going to make it even better.

In July, I had my friend Xyren's sweet sixteen.  Except for Satsugai's brother almost ruining the party, it was great and she suspected not a thing until we got to Satsugai's basement.

August, we had Anime Iowa and I made new friends.  Bleach fans who are made of amazingness, just like the rest of my buddies.

September got me into a local community college, and living with my dad again.  He's only home on the weekends because of his job, but that's okay; it's more than I got to see him during high school.  More new friends (normies, gasp!), Amanda and her (now) fiancee Thomas.  I also met Kandice, a fellow otaku, so I don't feel so lonely.

October was mostly boring.  

And, in November came the most stressful thing.  The day before my birthday, my great grandmother died of Alzheimer's complications.  I'm still reeling from the shock of it, and every time someone mentions the disease I kind of go off into my own little world.  

Not angsting, so much as I just fell into writing and haven't really drawn much since, oh God, it was probably the end of senior year.  Nothing that I feel like sharing, any how.

OH EM GEE...
I don't think I've been quite this obsessive in awhile. (Not since sophomore year, anyway).  Weiss Kreuz just gnaws at my brain day and night, day and night.  I suppose it's better than that icky slump I was in for a while, though.

And while I'm thinking about stuff, can anyone direct me to any tips for making WK related costumes?  I'm going to attempt a mission Yohji for Anime Detour, but I need some tips on how to go about it.  Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

And, for those who are possibly interested and/or live in the Minneapolis area, I will have an art table at Anime Detour this year.  I'll be featuring my works found here, as well as some new things that I've come up with.  My group hasn't quite decided if we're going to do commissions yet, but we'll hopefully know soon.

*slinks off for another few months*

One has to wonder....WHY THE HELL DO I STILL HAVE TO GET UP AT 6:30 in the morning to take my moronic brother to school when I'm done?

This bites, royally.  And I have to do this for another MONTH, because he has drivers' ed.
